Synopsis

A classic mystery unfolds around a secret land agreement made in 1905 and a missing golden key. When the key is discovered in the present day, the private investigator played by Janne Ahonen finds himself in the middle of a power struggle threatening the future of the city — while also trying to save his relationship on the brink of divorce.

JANNE AHONEN - One of the most successful ski jumpers of all time.

Janne Ahonen is a Finnish ski jumping legend whose trophy cabinet is among the most impressive in the sport’s history. He has won two individual World Championship titles (1997 and 2005), collected a total of 19 medals in major international competitions, and claimed two overall FIS Ski Jumping World Cup titles.

Ahonen made history by winning the prestigious Four Hills Tournament a record five times. During his career he achieved an extraordinary 36 World Cup victories and reached the podium 108 times. He also holds the record for the highest total number of World Cup points in the history of the sport.

Over the course of his long and eventful career, Ahonen represented Finland in seven Winter Olympic Games and was named Finnish Sports Personality of the Year in 2005.

Now the “Eagle King” is making a completely new kind of leap — from the ski jump to the big screen — starring in Finland’s first AI-powered feature film.

Janne Nykänen is one of Finland’s first AI filmmakers.

He has run a video production company for more than 20 years and has developed his screenwriting skills for over 30 years. Nykänen has directed three feature-length fiction films available for rent on Elisa Viihde, as well as numerous short films, music videos, and documentaries.

Throughout his career, he has often been a pioneer in exploring new storytelling formats. In 2016, he created the world’s first short film in which drones performed the leading roles. In 2021, he produced an interactive murder mystery using VR 360 technology and human actors, and in 2025 he created Finland’s first AI-powered escape room game.

Currently, Nykänen focuses mainly on AI productions. His most recent work includes two short films made in 2026 featuring the mascot of the Lahti Pelicans ice hockey club.

His upcoming film will be Finland’s first AI-powered feature film, and only a handful of similar productions have been made worldwide.
